FRENCH CREATOR OF JEWELERY
François La Manille is a French house, a creation workshop created in 2013, by François PRINGUEY (graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux) and based in Bordeaux, in the South West of France.
For 8 years now, we have been creating and developing jewelry collections for the whole family, inspired by the sea and travel.
FRENCH MANUFACTURING - HAND ASSEMBLY
We use Shackles (marine snap hook) and Apalas (fishing ring) that we have previously molded - in a Marseille foundry - in Silver and Gold. We then carefully assemble these pieces into jewelry, by hand in our workshops in Bordeaux and the port of La Teste on the Arcachon basin.
We also use other materials such as textiles, chains, rings, packaging ... which also come from French companies and which manufacture everything in France.
MOLD JEWELERY
Our Shackles and peach rings known as Apalas have been redesigned and cast in silver and gilded brass. They can therefore no longer be used in a marine universe, for sailing or fishing.
They have been transformed into jewelry, and are now only used to make our collections of rings, bracelets, necklaces and other bangles.
2 VERSIONS
Silver version: known as Silver 925.
By definition, pure silver should contain 99-100% silver. But this is not possible because pure silver is too soft. We therefore add one or more other alloy metals to make it harder (most often copper). In the world, 1st grade silver has a minimum content of 92.5% pure silver. This is called 925 silver.
Silver being our favorite material and so you can see it, the most used in our offer.
Golden Version: Gold plated brass.
Brass is a yellow alloy, very ductile and malleable, composed mainly of copper and zinc, in varying proportions, the direct manufacture of which from suitable ores was already mastered by metallurgists before Antiquity.
Our brass is then plated in gold (also yellow). The mixture of the 2, one on top of the other, allows a gentle aging, which will remain constantly yellow. This whatever the person and the vagaries of everyday life (showers, bathing in the sea, sweating ...).

Creations, original pieces, original and registered François La Manille because rethought, imagined and developed for a certain time by us.
We are therefore no longer in a category associated with costume jewelry but at a higher level.
We are talking about creations, PREMIUM jewelry.
AUTHENTIC SUSTAINABLE PREMIUMS
As you will have understood, our products are made with authentic and premium materials but also durable.
In addition to what we have just mentioned, it is also possible to keep them for a long time. Indeed, we have developed in parallel a service system SAV which allows you to change your link, either for another color or, if worn, for a new link. The same goes, for example, for our channels.
REFINED LINES - TIMELESS DESIGN
We like to imagine products with fine lines and classic design. We try to register our creations in time and differentiate ourselves from what is done and often seen: accessories little worked, in a crude and too familiar style.
PLEASURE TO DISCOVER OR REDISCOVER
Finally, we try to do different and characteristic things. Not to be everywhere, on everyone is also one of our dearest wishes. Finally, who wants to wear something common that can be seen everywhere, on everyone?
